Campaign forum realizes image film for families in need
When parents with newborns reach their limits, they urgently need support. This is shown in the new image film by Kampagnenforum for the professional association Emotional First Aid.
What to do when the child is always crying? Or when new families are overwhelmed? The new spot by Kampagnenforum for the Emotional First Aid Association wants to convey that parents don't have to manage this alone.
Emotional First Aid EEH is a body-oriented counseling approach that supports the parent-child bond during pregnancy, birth, and the time after. EEH therapists are available to families throughout Switzerland.
The current image film aims to reach parents and professionals throughout Switzerland. Professionals are particularly important, as they are often the ones who need to know what support options are available when parents in need turn to them.
Moving image as simple means for complex topic
Pregnancy, birth and babyhood rarely go as harmoniously as desired, says EH. Fears, overwhelming birth experiences, an inconsolably crying baby, sleeping problems or worries about the child's development often determine everyday life. The communication medium "film" is intended to ensure the easiest possible access to a complex topic. In addition to therapists, the film also features parents themselves.
The combination of vivid facts and an emotional setting gives the issue relevance and ensures that it remains firmly anchored in the minds of viewers. Award-winning filmmaker and photographer Bernard van Dierendonck is responsible for the shooting and production of the documentary-style image film.
