Campaign: EWZ Limmatstrom Brings Energy Production to Life
The new ewz Limmatstrom campaign brings regional energy production to life in everyday settings—with surprising comparisons, giant everyday objects displayed in front of the Letten power plant, and a themed week on Radio Energy.

How many cell phones can be charged? How many soft drinks can be chilled? How many cups of tea can be brewed—or how many legs can be epilated? The new ewz Limmatstrom campaign provides billions of answers to all these questions. Instead of kilowatt-hours and technical jargon, ewz relies on everyday comparisons, surprising images, and plenty of conversation starters about regional energy production.
Giant everyday objects in front of the Letten Power Plant
In front of the Letten power plant, giant everyday objects appear, revealing what would otherwise remain invisible: the enormous amount of electricity that ewz produces each year. Studio Marvin Hugentobler is behind the campaign and is responsible for its creative execution. The campaign has been running since June 22 on posters, tram posters, audio spots, display ads, and social media.

"Limmat Love" on Radio Energy and at the Filmfluss
Starting July 3, ewz will be featuring the «Limmat Love» theme week on Radio Energy—with stories about water, people, and electricity production. The ewz Limmat Strom campaign will be complemented by an exclusive appearance at the Filmfluss open-air cinema right on the Limmat. Anyone who wants to test their knowledge can also take the Limmat Strom quiz online.

Renewable Energy from the Region for the Region
The message is clear: Limmatstrom is renewable energy, produced at ewz’s own hydroelectric power plants in Letten, Höngg, and Wettingen—from the region, for the region. More information on production and technology can be found in the ewz Knowledge Magazine https://www.powernewz.ch.
