Jung von Matt/Limmat beats the advertising drum for Grand Basel
A campaign is currently drawing attention to the Grand Basel Show in Basel. Jung von Matt/Limmat is responsible for the development and implementation of an extensive campaign. The show is unique in its kind, is being held for the first time and will take place from September 6 to 9 at Messe Basel.

A comprehensive branding and performance campaign was launched with print, digital and out-of-home measures. On August 25, the Saturday edition of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung also published a 12-page insert created especially for the NZZ readership. To appeal to younger car enthusiasts as well, an ambient campaign attracted attention on the same day: Carspotters spotted several extraordinary vehicles with Grand Basel branding in downtown Zurich and spread the word on their channels via social media.

Long-term mandate for Jung von Matt/Limmat
In an initial phase, the creative agency developed a long-term and comprehensive communications strategy for the global market and implements this itself throughout Europe with public relations and content measures. To this end, the Jung von Matt team works with a network of selected partner agencies.
In a second phase, a wide-ranging activation campaign for branding and performance has now been developed and rolled out in Switzerland and surrounding neighboring countries. The basic question "ARE CARS ART?" is currently encountering the potential audience through print, digital and out-of-home measures.

A unique exhibition
The first Grand Basel will be held in Basel, Switzerland, September 6-9, with additional shows planned in Miami Beach, February 22-24, 2019, and Hong Kong, May 2019. The show now features 100 automotive masterpieces from yesterday, today and tomorrow in the context of art and culture as well as architecture and design. With a successful premiere, Grand Basel will become a fixed star for collectors, dealers and car enthusiasts worldwide.
