Jung von Matt Limmat, Gerber and the fondue cuddly toy

You can always get a sudden craving for fondue. For those moments, there’s Gerber Fondue—for spontaneous enjoyment, whether you’re on the go or at home. That’s the core message of the current campaign by Jung von Matt Limmat for Gerber.

Many people know the feeling of suddenly having a craving for fondue. The unconditional urge to put the fondue fork in the caquelon right now. Anyone who has a Gerber fondue at hand in such situations is well advised.

Of bus drivers and crooked shelves

This message is at the heart of Jung von Matt Limmat's current campaign for Gerber. The campaign runs as TVC and online in different lengths in German and French, on display banners and as OOH implementation.

The bus driver, who sometimes interrupts the bus ride for a fondue, father and son, who relaxedly ignore slanted shelves at the sight of the fondue, and a mountaineer, who holds a fondue fork in his hand instead of a pick.

From certainty of success to spontaneity

The current campaign is also the start of Gerber's new positioning. Whereas the focus was previously on the reliability of Gerber fondues, it is now the spontaneity factor that determines the brand communication. Because of the ready-to-use recipe and good shelf life of Gerber fondues, they can be bought in stock and prepared quickly when needed. The campaign around the "Fondue-Glüschtli" is intended to highlight this new positioning.
