Court marshal places a shell on the water tower for Eichhof

To celebrate Swiss Beer Day, Hofmarschall teamed up with Monami to wrap a Lucerne landmark for Eichhof: The water tower, standing a good 34 meters tall, was encased in an oversized CGI beer can. On social media, the campaign was picked up and shared by various communities and residents of Lucerne.

Eichhof served free beer as part of Swiss Beer Day. To draw attention to the campaign, the Lucerne water tower was equipped with a gigantic beer can. The can is a faux out-of-home advertising stunt. The video was recorded in such a way that it appears to have been filmed by a passer-by to increase credibility.

Eichhof's idea was to surprise the people of Lucerne and invite them to raise a glass to their city. In order to reach a specific local target group, the post was shared by various microinfluencers and the "szene_isch.luzern" platform. The following day, "szene_isch.luzern" revealed that this was a CGI campaign. In total, over 100,000 organic impressions and 2,500 engagements were achieved on Instagram.
