With the Christmas campaign "Unfolding hope" The Salvation Army Switzerland wants to give hope until the end of December 2024 - especially to those who find themselves on the margins of society. In a time characterized by crises, the campaign focuses on the value of mindfulness, compassion and dignity.

The origami dove as a symbol

The central element of the campaign is the origami dove, which stands for peace, solidarity and confidence. It symbolizes how hope can be rekindled even in difficult times when people are perceived and supported in their individuality.

A movie that moves

A campaign film visualizes the message in an impressive way. It focuses on a homeless man who places self-folded origami doves in the city - an act that spreads hope. In addition to actor Jürg Plüss, Salvation Army employees and those affected also take part, giving the film authenticity and emotional depth. The commercial will be broadcast on national television from December 4, 2024.

Join in and spread hope

The Salvation Army is inviting the public to take part in the campaign via social media: Fold origami doves yourself and place them in various locations. Folding instructions can be found on the Campaign website. The aim is to make hope visible - regardless of location or circumstances.

A strong partner network

The campaign was developed in close collaboration with the creative agency Bold AG from Bern. The film production company stories AG took on the cinematic realization together with the film duo Synkron. These creative partnerships resulted in a campaign that impressively stages the message of hope.

The Salvation Army Switzerland invites everyone to become part of this campaign and make a big impact with small signs.
