Havas Switzerland in Geneva is launching a creative and playful campaign to mark the 50th anniversary of Leerdammer, celebrating half a century of unique taste throughout Switzerland.
The Leerdammer cheese brand is celebrating its 50th birthday with an extraordinary anniversary campaign staged by Havas Switzerland. To mark this unique anniversary, Leerdammer distributed gifts that combine culinary delights with unforgettable experiences, resulting in the trilingual, Switzerland-wide celebratory campaign. At the center of the campaign is a key visual that echoes the messages of the festivities and the iconic elements of the brand, developed by Havas Switzerland's creative team.
Gifts that suit the Leerdammer taste
To mark the occasion, Leerdammer gave away a unique experience: a ride on the highest toboggan run in the world, followed by an exclusive overnight stay in Les Diablerets. There were also many other goodies to be won in the brand's colors. Every Leerdammer pack sold in Switzerland was decorated with the campaign, underlining the scale of the effort.
A digital and interactive result
In parallel, Havas Switzerland developed a landing page specifically dedicated to the anniversary, a digital hub where consumers could take part in an interactive game. Accessible and inviting, this platform reflects the festive occasion of the campaign, with an intuitive user interface that invites people to play and win. Through this online experience, Leerdammer strengthens the connection to the product experience and offers a stimulating encounter.
A nationwide operation
The anniversary campaign was deployed in the three national languages - German, French and Italian - to reach the entire Swiss audience. In addition to the landing page and POS promotions, a SoMe campaign was developed in German and French to maximize the reach of the event while reaffirming Leerdammer as a generous brand that is connected to its consumers.
