Häppli Christmas: Migros Basel celebrates regional Christmas

In its current Christmas campaign, Migros Basel is focusing on its regional strength. The festively cheerful headlines by Dieter Boller advertise selected products from Basel and the surrounding area.

Migros Basel emphasizes its connection with the region at Christmas time. From "Weihnachtsgutzi" and "Grättimänner" to Nordmann fir trees: Festive products from Basel and the surrounding area take center stage and are intended to increase the anticipation of Basel residents for the holidays.

The protagonists in this campaign are once again employees of the Migros Cooperative Basel. They present their personal favorites from the Advent range on a total of five double subjects.

"Regional products are a matter close to Migros Basel's heart; they make our range unmistakable," says Andreas Lehr, Head of Marketing at Migros Basel. Customers really appreciate the proximity and Christmas is the perfect time to show our roots in the region. "Many products are made directly in our in-house bakeries or in the Cuisine or Pâtisserie artisanale in Münchenstein, which enables us to offer fresh, handmade food of the highest quality," says Lehr.

After the summer campaign the current Christmas campaign was once again created in close collaboration with freelance copywriter and concept developer Dieter Boller. Advertisements, posters and digital advertising materials will be promoting the regional offer in the greater Basel area until shortly before Christmas.
