Dynamite and the town of Illnau-Effretikon declare war on littering
The Zug-based agency Dynamite has developed various measures to combat littering for the city of Illnau-Effretikon.
Part of the anti-littering campaign is the transparent Plexiglas cube on main roads in the Illnau-Effretikon region, which is constantly filled with litter collected from the surrounding area. Stickers on the front of the cube show the increase in waste over time. To the left and right of the cube are three double-sided F200 posters that convey targeted messages about protecting farm animals and raising awareness of littering.
Cigarette butts are still one of the most common types of waste collected during cleaning campaigns. "Ballot bins" have therefore also been installed in the market square and playground to tackle this issue. The "ballot bins" are designed to encourage smokers to dispose of their cigarette butts properly in a fun way. Each "ballot bin" poses a question with two possible answers, and the cigarette butts are collected in two columns behind the transparent glass front - allowing the "voting results" to be seen immediately.
At the same time, further F200 basic posters with specific themes will be used in the city area and local events on the subject of littering will be organized.
