Don't learn English from the US President

Ruf Lanz is promoting professional English lessons from Yourpersonalenglishtrainer.ch with a hard-hitting campaign.

The English language is ubiquitous today. Even those who have never attended a course can pick up a few snippets everywhere in the media. But that is no substitute for professional instruction, as Ruf Lanz humorously demonstrates in a new campaign for Yourpersonalenglishtrainer.ch.

It features a doctor, a ticket inspector, and a tourist information desk clerk who have unmistakably picked up their English from Donald Trump and have integrated his striking slogans and phrases directly into their everyday work. Clearly, this makes them come across as rather pompous and not particularly confidence-inspiring. Conclusion: Don't learn English from the US President. Learn it from a Certified English Trainer.

The main advertising media are three radio and online spots. The Trumpish talkers are also used in advertisements, postcards and social media posts.
