Partner & Partner and BACS raise awareness of cyber security
On behalf of the Federal Office for Cybersecurity, the agency Partner & Partner has launched a national campaign with the slogan «No excuses—just do it!» The goal is to raise public awareness of risks in the digital space through real-life examples and communication initiatives.
With the new awareness campaign «S-U-P-E-R.ch,» the Federal Office for Cybersecurity (BACS), in collaboration with Swiss Crime Prevention (SKP), SBB, Swiss Post, the Swiss Insurance Association (SVV), and cantonal and municipal police forces to draw attention to specific risks in everyday digital use. At the heart of the campaign is the call to action «No excuses—just do it!», which is intended to motivate people to consistently implement simple protective measures such as strong passwords and regular updates.
The campaign will be accompanied by a multi-week communication campaign. It will kick off on Friday as part of the BEA in Bern. An information booth will be set up there, where visitors will be introduced to the topic in a playful way—for example, with the new game «Cards Against Cybersecurity.» A photo booth and a contest based on common excuses round out the fair’s offerings.
In conjunction with this, the campaign platform provides S-U-P-E-R.ch Background information and practical tips on cybersecurity, tailored to individuals and businesses. A key focus is on highlighting typical behavioral patterns, such as reusing the same passwords or putting off updates. Videos and online content draw on these examples and relate them to the real-life situations of different target audiences.
The campaign will run through the end of May.
