All for Human Rights: Together for Humanity

Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: «All human beings are born equal in dignity and rights.» Yet around the world, human rights are coming under increasing pressure.

Amnesty Switzerland has launched the campaign All for Human Rights to set an example for humanity, equality and justice. In the midst of hatred, discrimination and authoritarian politics, the campaign reminds us of what unites us as human beings: our feelings, our empathy - and our courage to stand up for each other.

Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: "Everyone is born equal in dignity and rights." However, human rights are coming under increasing pressure worldwide. LGBTI* people, women, migrants and people with disabilities are particularly affected.

With the new campaign, Amnesty Switzerland wants to bring together people who no longer want to accept these developments without any power. All for Human Rights calls on all people to stand up against discrimination and to join us in fighting against the 'right of the strongest' and for a fairer world.

Courage for humanity

"Human rights need us - and we need them. Let's stand up for equality and inclusion now and demand clear positions from Switzerland on human rights. Let's create a just future together - for all of us"says Daniela Varga, who is responsible for non-discrimination at Amnesty Switzerland.

All for Human Rights consciously focuses on feelings - fear, joy, sadness and empathy. They are universal and connect us as human beings. This emotional language is used to build bridges instead of walls - and to strengthen human rights.

Join in and set an example

The campaign, developed with the agency Numéro10, is accompanied by online ads in buses, streetcars and trains and a scratch card campaign by activists at Swiss train stations. In a Campaign video and in pictures, Amnesty activists call for participation. On Instagram celebrities such as Melanie Winiger, Lara Stoll and the band Zeal&Ardor have taken the side of human rights and Amnesty International.

Anyone can set an example for more courage for humanity: by attaching a sticker with the equality slogan to their cell phone, bike or letterbox, joining an activist group and organizing actions, getting their local pub on board or spreading the campaign message under the hashtag #All4forHumanRights.
