Aldi Suisse & Tings: collaboration for new TikTok presence

Tings revitalizes Aldi Suisse's TikTok channel with funny content - tailored to millennials and Gen Z.

The full-service social agency Tings from Zurich has been commissioned by Aldi Suisse for the strategy and implementation of TikTok content. The retailer, headquartered in Schwarzenbach, is thus strategically focusing on the much-used channel of the young target group and intends to do so in the long term. According to a press release, Tings convinced those responsible at Aldi Suisse with its creativity and affinity for Gen Z and millennials.

Funny video sketches with comedians

The first TikTok videos went online this year. Tings delivers several of them every month and, with Reena Krishnaraja and Milan Milanski, relies on two of its best-known faces in the team. Reena went down in the history books as the youngest Swiss Comedy Award winner and Milan is, among other things, the host of the most popular Swiss open mic show. The two regularly slip into other people's roles for the short videos. They find themselves as bargain hunters and Aldi employees between Aldi shelves and at checkouts.
