Agency at the airport creates a unified campaign for the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation

The Pestalozzi Children's Village Foundation is an international children's charity. To mark the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the agency developed a fundraising campaign at the airport and sent a child version of Lady Justice on a tour of Switzerland.

Happy children need free time, education, health, self-determination and freedom of expression. All of this should be a matter of course. But for many children around the world this is not the case, even though the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Every year, the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation supports around 170,000 children and young people in 13 countries to ensure a fairer and more peaceful world. To achieve this, the aid organization relies on donations. In order to raise awareness of children's rights among the Swiss population, the agency at the airport was commissioned to create a communication campaign.

A Justitia girl, who stands for the rights of children, was created as the figurehead of the campaign. In collaboration with Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen, the agency developed a life-size bronze statue at the airport, which, like her great role model, holds a pair of scales in her hand and wears a blindfold. Her look makes her a small, strong superhero who fights for children's rights worldwide.

This fall, the foundation is touring the most important Swiss cities with its Justitia girl to campaign for children's rights worldwide and collect donations. The roadshow started in St. Gallen and will end on November 20, International Children's Rights Day, on the Bundesplatz in Bern.

In addition to "Justitia on Tour", a litter throw was initiated as a further measure, with which around one million Swiss households were asked to donate. A guerrilla campaign in playgrounds also shows that we must all work together to improve children's rights.

The advertising materials have been in use since August and will remain in use until December.
