Art.I.Schock with barrier-free new appearance for Theater Stadelhofen

To kick off the new season, the Theater Stadelhofen is unveiling a new look. The new visual identity is designed to appeal to the entire spectrum of the audience, from children to adults. The concept and implementation were developed by the Zurich-based agency Art.I.Schock.

The Stadelhofen Theater sees itself as a theater of objects for children and adults, presenting high-quality national and international guest performances as well as collaborations with local artists. Ahead of the new season, which begins on Saturday, it has given itself a fresh new look.

A particularly important requirement was that the website be accessible. When the website was developed by Indyaner Media in Winterthur, special attention was therefore paid to this aspect. To ensure that the site is easy to use for people with disabilities, practical tests were conducted in collaboration with the Swiss Federation of the Blind and Visually Impaired.

The Zurich-based agency Art.I.Schock developed and implemented the visual identity, further expanding its cultural portfolio in the process. The result is a playful and tongue-in-cheek concept with a DIY feel. The clean, graphic visual style, built around typographic elements, opens up a wide range of applications and plenty of room for creativity. In addition to the website, the agency designed various print materials—such as folded program flyers, posters, stickers, stationery, and templates—as well as digital assets like email signatures, header images, and profile pictures for social media.
