Zattoo expands its offering for TV operators with new front-end options

Zattoo is expanding its offering for TV operators and entertainment providers with front-end options for its Media Integration Platform (MIP), developed by a number of new partners. The initiative builds on the recent acquisition of Green Streams, which added the MIP to its portfolio. While Zattoo continues to offer its proven end-to-end TV product, the MIP embodies a more modular strategy.

The MIP is a SaaS product that manages all aspects of a TV and entertainment service in one place. It includes product and business logic, pricing and upselling, content management, discovery, personalization, user experience, live monitoring and analytics. The platform is designed for easy integration with existing operator modules such as video backends, content delivery networks (CDN) or operating/business support services (OSS/BSS) systems.

In collaboration with three experienced partners - Appolica (Bulgaria), Dotscreen (France) and Logituit (India) - Zattoo is making new front-end options available for the MIP. These can be delivered as fully functional, customizable and "brandable" applications. Alternatively, operators or their agencies can develop customized apps quickly and cost-effectively using a software development kit (SDK).

"The optimized Media Integration Platform is an important next step in Zattoo's strategy," says Roger Elsener, CEO of Zattoo. "With the MIP at its core and a strong ecosystem of partners around frontends as an optional key building block, we give operators maximum flexibility to work with Zattoo in the way that best suits their business."

The optimized Media Integration Platform product will be presented at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam from 12 to 15 September, where visitors can experience the solution and the entire product portfolio live in Hall 5, Stand G55.
