Wetalkwithyou strengthens technical leadership with Simon Tuck

Zurich-based digital agency Wetalkwithyou is continuing its growth trajectory and significantly expanding its technical leadership: Simon Tuck is taking on the role of Lead Engineer & Technical Architect with immediate effect. In future, he will be responsible for the overall technological architecture, the further development of all engineering processes and the management of the development teams. With this reorganization, Michael à Porta, founder and previous Technical Director, will focus on the corporate management and strategic development of Wetalkwithyou.

20 years of experience in digital and e-commerce systems

Simon Tuck has extensive expertise in the architecture and implementation of sophisticated digital systems. His focus areas include API-first architectures, integrations and data models, event-driven systems, observability and RBAC/SSO. In the e-commerce and CRM sector, he has in-depth knowledge of Shopify Plus, custom apps, ISO-20022 payment files and HubSpot.

His technical portfolio also includes cloud and data solutions on AWS such as IoT Core, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and Athena. In web and app development, he works with React, TypeScript, Supabase and Node.js. He has over ten years of experience in TYPO3 and PHP engineering. He also has expertise in team and vendor leadership, delivery management and the development of technical roadmaps.

Most recently, Simon Tuck was Head of Operations and previously Head of Digital at Trust Square in Zurich. There he was responsible for central system landscapes such as HubSpot, SharePoint, Okta SSO and Jira/Confluence, led teams in Switzerland and in the nearshore area and established modern data and automation processes. Prior to that, he was co-founder and CTO of Livealytics, where he developed and successfully scaled an IoT analytics platform on AWS.
