Ad agencies turn to Instagram more than Twitter
According to a study, advertising agencies are increasingly turning to Instagram, a Facebook subsidiary, rather than Twitter when it comes to social media.

According to the data released Thursday, 96 percent of companies expressed interest in advertising on Facebook, 63 percent on Instagram and 56 percent on Twitter. Eighty-three agencies were surveyed. A Twitter spokesman called the results wrong, pointing to a 2015 study by Advertiser Perceptions that said interest in the short messaging service was greater than in the image service. Instagram declined to comment. Twitter is losing ground to Internet top dogs Google and Facebook. In April, the U.S. company admitted that advertisers had held back in the months before, especially in Europe. (SDA)
