Energy theme brought to life on EKZ online platform
When you hear EKZ, you immediately think of electricity. But that is by no means all that the Zurich energy company has to offer. Plan.Net Suisse was therefore commissioned to emotionalize the website Energie-experten.ch with insights and interesting facts about the topic of energy, and to make it more tangible, attractive and accessible.

Plan.Net Suisse has already developed and implemented a wide range of digital projects for its long-standing client EKZ. The most recent order included the redesign of the website Energy-experts.ch including design and user experience. The site reflects EKZ's multifaceted world of topics with six exciting segments: Building & Living, Mobility, Business, Tools, Knowledge and Energy Issues. Within each of these segments, users are informed about energy-related topics with comprehensive blogs.

The aim of the redesign was to make the site more personal, clearer, more involving and more tangible. For example, in addition to the blog teasers, the name and photo of the authors as well as the expected reading time of the blog entry can now be found. In addition, the aim was to make the site easier and faster to find on the Internet, which is why the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was further optimized thanks to the experience gained from the previous websites. Technologically, the EKZ online platform is based on TYPO3, and to ensure that users enjoy a smooth and fluid transition between the individual pages when surfing the website, barba.js was used. Sonja Köppel and Gian Cavigelli from EKZ are pleased with the result: "We are very happy with the new website, the user can now deal with the topic of "energy" in a more playful way and at the same time get targeted information."
