Teads, the omnichannel outcomes platform for the open web, is focusing on internal talent and promoting two long-standing executives to key EMEA roles. Bastian Sarott will take over the position of CTV Business Lead EMEA as of February 1, 2026, while Cesare Eternini has been appointed Senior Director, Performance EMEA & LATAM. Both positions will be managed from the Zurich office.

Focus on connected TV

Connected TV is one of Teads' key strategic focus areas in 2026. In his new role as CTV Business Lead EMEA, Sarott will work closely with the local leads in the individual markets and with Hugues Templier, Global Video Business Lead, to further accelerate growth in the CTV sector.

Sarott has many years of experience at the interface between digital and TV and has been working in this environment since 2013. He has been with Teads for almost nine years and was previously responsible for various growth and transformation projects. The most important stages of his career include responsibility for the marketing of MTV in Switzerland, his role as Head of Strategy at Goldbach Media and marketing responsibility for Spotify in Switzerland. For Sarott, the promotion closes a circle: after various successful positions within Tead, he is now focusing entirely on Connected TV, his first passion in the media world.

Expand performance advertising

Performance advertising is another strategic focus for Teads. In his new role as Senior Director, Performance EMEA & LATAM, Cesare Eternini will work closely with the local performance leads in Europe and Latin America to further expand the business in this area. He will report to Alex Savic, Managing Director EMEA & LATAM, and will be supported by seven local Performance Leads in Europe and LATAM.

Eternini has been with Teads for more than four years and was most recently Head of Performance DACH & CEE. Prior to that, he worked as Global Digital Strategy Director at EF Education First, the world's leading international education company.

"With the promotions of Bastian Sarott and Cesare Eternini, we are filling two key strategic responsibilities from within our own ranks. Bastian has many years of experience at the interface between digital and TV and knows the CTV market from different perspectives. In his new role, he will work closely with our local leads and the teams in the markets to further drive growth in this area," says Alex Savic, Managing Director EMEA & LATAM at Teads.

Commenting on Eternini, Savic adds: "In the more than four years that Cesare has been with the company, the markets for which he is responsible have consistently achieved above-average results. His ability to provide local sales teams with the knowledge and support they need to succeed has been key to this. I am delighted that Cesare will now bring this strength to the entire EMEA and LATAM region and support our teams in further expanding our performance business."
