Switchplus enters the offline world and opens specialty store in Zurich
The Swiss domain and website company Switchplus opened its first retail store in Zurich on August 23. The focus is on personalized service.
The aim, functionality and design of a website are easier and more efficient to discuss in person. Switchplus now offers this opportunity in its own specialist store. The consultants are long-standing switchplus employees and specialists in all topics relating to Internet presence. The specialist store is located directly at Sihlporte, Löwenstrasse 2 in Zurich.
With "Presence", Switchplus also launched a customized Internet presence tailored to the needs of SMEs. It offers a comprehensive personal consulting service, needs-based implementation and maintenance of the website as well as support with online marketing. The complete package is offered as a subscription for CHF 2,500 per year and includes ongoing advice and further development of the website together with the customer.
Due to increasing complexity and rapid technical change, there is a great need for a comprehensive service for websites, according to a press release. The innovations at Switchplus are therefore part of a repositioning away from being a pure domain and hosting expert towards becoming a holistic provider of Internet services. A month ago, "Toolfree" was launched, offering customers a construction kit for a free website for every managed domain.
