Simon Wehrli is Twint's new CIO
Effective May 1, 2021, Simon Wehrli will assume the position of Chief Information Officer at Twint and will thereby join the core executive management team.
Simon Wehrli has already held the position of CIO on an interim basis for the past few months, Twint writes in a statement. He has now been promoted by the Board of Directors to the new position of Chief Information Officer, effective May 1, 2021.
The trained computer scientist started his engagement at Twint in 2017 as Software Architect. Since 2019, he has been responsible for architecture and technology as Chief Technology Officer and Deputy CIO. Prior to that, he worked as a freelancer in mobile app development and also counted large companies from the financial sector among his clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
In his new position, Simon Wehrli will be responsible for the entire IT area of Twint and, together with his team, will make a significant contribution to the continued success of the Twint app, according to the statement. Twint's core management team now consists of Markus Kilb (Chief Executive Officer), Anton Stadelmann (Chief Customer Officer, Deputy CEO) and Simon Wehrli (Chief Information Officer).
