Salt opens fourth flagship store in Bern at Bärenplatz

Salt has opened its fourth flagship store "Home of Salt". The store is located on Bern's Bärenplatz under the arcades of the historic Vatter building. With an area of 148 m², it is twice as large as before and has three entrances - from Spitalgasse and Bärenplatz.

Premium design and extended areas

The expanded flagship store picks up on the premium design of the Salt flagship store concept. It now has a dedicated area for Salt Business customers and an Eco Corner for the device buyback program. In an inviting environment with coffee and a comfortable waiting area, visitors can get advice and experience live demonstrations of the latest devices and telecommunications services.

Customers also have the opportunity to test the new fiber-based Internet product Salt Home+. The product offers ultra-fast landline Internet, Wi-Fi 7 and Sky Show/Canal+ entertainment on Apple TV or Android from CHF 39.95 per month. A large selection of Salt Mobile subscriptions and exclusive Black Everyday offers are available in the store for private and business customers.

Strengthening our presence in Berne

The Salt stores recently received a "very good" rating in the Connect Mobile Shop Test 2025. With the opening of the Home of Salt on Bern's Bärenplatz, the company is strengthening its presence in the Swiss capital. With the existing locations at Bern's main railway station and in the Westside shopping center, Salt now operates a total of three stores in the city.
