Online Data Switzerland ensures seamless online research in Switzerland
Swiss online research continues steadily: Traffic data for January is now available on WEMF’s «NEXT>LEVEL» portal.
"Online Data Switzerland" has been responsible for technical traffic measurement for websites and apps in Switzerland since the beginning of 2025. The consortium of CH Media, Ringier and TX Group has taken over online research from Mediapulse and ensures that it is continued without data disruption. The first measurements for the month of January are now available.
Monthly publication in the WEMF portal
The latest figures are available on the WEMF portal "NEXT>LEVEL". "Online Data Switzerland" is sticking to its previous publication rhythm: the data is published in the middle of the following month and is available to all market participants.
Continuity thanks to proven partners
Kantar Switzerland AG will remain responsible for the technical traffic measurement as a service provider, while Comscore EMEA will continue to supply the measurement technology. This means that the quality of data collection will remain at the usual high level and will continue without interruption. There will be no additional effort for publishers who already participated in the measurement in 2024.
Broad participation of the media industry
The majority of Swiss media companies are using the new online research. In addition to CH Media, Ringier and TX Group, these include blue Entertainment, BNJ Multimédia, Energy Switzerland, ESH Médias, Meier + Cie and persönlich-Verlag. Other publishers are invited to join in order to ensure a comprehensive picture of the Swiss online market.
Strategic importance of measurement
The uniform traffic measurement provides publishers with a solid database to optimize content and increase attractiveness for advertising partners. It strengthens the competitiveness and trust of users, advertisers and business partners in the media brands.
