Olai Interactive realizes online manual about meat

In addition to the website relaunch, Olai Interactive also realized the "Bell Code 1869" for Bell. The comprehensive online manual in conjunction with the "Recipes" and "Assortment" sections provides answers to all questions about meat, from purchasing to preparation.

The core of the "Bell Code 1869" is meat science. Supported by interactive graphics, the consumer learns more about the origin of filet, entrecôte and beef stew. Short and concise texts provide information on the individual cuts of the common animal species, their forms of use as well as the suitable preparation methods and provide information on the different breeds.

Whether roasted, smoked, grilled or raw, meat is more versatile than almost anything else. Detailed information on forms of use and preparation methods invite you to linger. Likewise, the different cooking stages are taken into account, because the exact core temperatures are particularly important in meat preparation.

An animal consists of more than just the prime or short cuts. For a conscious handling of meat, it is therefore important to strive for a holistic use of the animal. What are cuts, where can second cuts be found, and which offal promises the greatest pleasure? In the context of sustainability, the "Bell Code 1869" therefore also addresses topics such as "nose to tail" (the holistic utilization of the animal) and "food waste" (the waste of food). Contributions on animal health, animal feed or animal transport provide insight into sustainable livestock farming and meat production in Switzerland.
