Mobilezone launches brand for used smartphones
The mobile phone retailer Mobilezone also plans to sell used smartphones. To that end, the company is launching the «Jusit» brand, according to a press release issued Thursday.
The smartphones came from Mobilezone's trade-in program, the company further writes. The returned new devices and used smartphones would be checked, refurbished if necessary and then put up for sale. This extends the life of the devices by two to four years, which is good for the environment.
The reconditioning is carried out by the Mobilezone subsidiary Mobiletouch, which describes itself as the largest workshop for smartphones in Switzerland.
Slight signs of use possible
Each smartphone must pass the original manufacturer's test and perform as well as a new device, according to the specifications. Technicians also performed a professional data wipe and clean on each one and installed the latest software updates.
"Jusit" offers the devices in three quality categories "Like new", "Very good" and "Good", it adds. In the last category, the smartphones may show slight signs of use, which can also be felt with the fingers. (SDA)
