Digital synergies: One master website for eleven compensation funds

Compensation funds play a central role in Switzerland's social policy. Among other things, they administer old-age, disability and income replacement insurance. Eleven of these funds and IV offices have joined forces to create a standardized but flexible web platform that takes specific requirements into account while still offering a consistent structure.

Gold Interactive was commissioned to develop this master website. The goal: a modern, user-friendly and future-proof platform that not only optimizes the information architecture, but also enables intuitive navigation and targeted quick access on the homepage. A sophisticated search function with live search, synonym recognition and visual highlighting makes it easier to find specific information.

The balance between uniformity and individuality was particularly challenging. The different corporate identities of the cash registers had to be taken into account without jeopardizing the recognizability of the overall platform. Solution: A flexible design system that preserves individuality through targeted adjustments, but creates a uniform visual language. A clickable prototype helped the working group of four cash registers and the experts from Gold Interactive to validate and optimize the concept at an early stage.

The hosting solution also relies on CO2-neutral electricity and thus makes an active contribution to sustainability. The further development of the platform is demand-oriented and collaborative, so that all cash registers benefit from new functions.
