The best Swiss Airbnb hosts are from the canton of Bern
The most hospitable Swiss Airbnb hosts are from the canton of Bern. That's according to the latest issue of the Handelszeitung.
As evaluations by the US booking platform show, three locations from the canton of Bern top the Swiss hit list. Spiez, Grindelwald and Ringgenberg occupy the top spots; in total, there are six Bernese destinations in the top ten.
The company, which is now present in 191 countries, based its statement on the hospitality of Airbnb hosts on customer reviews. The five-star ratings of guests who had traveled with Airbnb in the past twelve months were evaluated. In order to avoid random hits, only cities and locations with at least 500 trips were taken into account. There are currently over 30,000 Airbnb properties available in Switzerland.
