Cyber attack on OneLog: Logins and registrations temporarily disabled

A cyberattack has been disrupting the OneLog login tool since October 24, 2024, making it currently impossible to log in or register with several Swiss media companies. The affected companies are working intensively to restore their services.

On October 24, 2024, the OneLog login tool, which is used jointly by CH Media, NZZ, Ringier and the TX Group, was the target of a cyber attack. Since then, the login and registration functions have been deactivated, which means that associated services such as the comment function are also temporarily unavailable. Only the NZZ and CH Media titles remain unaffected, as they have not yet implemented the OneLog solution.

OneLog only manages users' login data; according to current knowledge, no other data appears to be at risk. OneLog is working together with the media companies involved to restore the services as soon as possible and is in close contact with the authorities.

OneLog and its partners focus on transparency and fast information. As soon as the services are available again, the public will be informed immediately.
