The development of the new platform based on the ContentXXL CMS The Bern-based digital agency was responsible for BizNet AGMember profiles and upcoming events are the main contents of the new online presence. Members of the Swiss Marketing Club Swiss Marketing Bern Zytglogge can register free of charge using a corresponding registration form and log in to the closed user area after receiving their access data. Personal and business details, profile photo, other profiles in social networks and the (optional) newsletter subscription can then be managed in their own profile area, and information on other members and upcoming events can be accessed with just a few clicks.Event management as central featureThe management of upcoming events is the central feature of the new platform. Events and their dates can be created quickly and easily and displayed in list overviews and detailed views.event admins can send invitations, confirmation or follow-up emails at the touch of a button or based on defined rules and can export the corresponding registration lists directly.members can register for the respective events in a one-click process and, if necessary, choose from various booking options, e.g. menus as part of a business lunch. All relevant event data can be easily transferred directly to common calendar programs such as Microsoft Outlook using ICS export and are thus available outside the platform in the usual event management system. In addition, events can be evaluated afterwards using an integrated survey form with regard to various criteria and can be evaluated by the event and/or portal admins.Social media integrationSocial media marketing has become firmly established as part of the marketing mix and the Swiss Marketing Club Bern Zytglogge also uses corresponding channels, especially Facebook, to provide information about upcoming and past events. Photos of past events naturally play a special role here. Images uploaded to Facebook are also published directly in the website's image gallery via an interface integration, where they can be browsed and shared on numerous other social media channels.
