Just Eat expands its range with Fleurop flower delivery

Just Eat continues to expand its on-demand services: The delivery service has partnered with Fleurop and now offers flower and plant delivery in ten cities. Orders placed at 39 participating Fleurop specialty stores will be delivered by Just Eat drivers within 45 minutes.

The service is now available in cities such as Basel, Bern and Zurich and will be expanded in the coming months. Lukas Streich, Managing Director of Just Eat Switzerland, sees this as a logical step in the company's strategy: "Our goal is clear: we want to deliver everything a city has to offer within 45 minutes via the Just Eat platform." In addition to restaurant meals, the range now also includes groceries, baked goods, meat products, pet food - and now flowers.

Fleurop-Interflora, with over 40,000 partner stores in more than 140 countries worldwide, wants to tap into new target groups through this cooperation. "This partnership offers us another globally recognized channel," says Jörg Beer, CEO of Fleurop-Interflora Switzerland. "Just Eat's established logistics infrastructure enables us to get our floral products and gift items to the recipients even faster."

The service is currently available in Basel, Bern, Biel/Bienne, Fribourg, Lausanne, Montreux, St. Gallen, Wallisellen, Winterthur and Zurich. Other cities, including Geneva, are set to follow in the coming months.
