First public transport company informs about water temperature
TRAFFIC MEDIA Passenger TV is launching a new service at the start of the swimming season. Passengers can now see the water temperature of the surrounding waters on the screens. It starts with the Marzilibahn, which celebrates its reopening on May 1.

In the future, the Marzilibahn will provide information about the water temperature of the Aare River via Passenger TV screens.Passenger TV is the most widespread public transport information system in Switzerland and its program reaches over 1.2 million passengers throughout the country every day. The very first public transport company to rely on Passenger Tv screens was the Marzilibahn in 2008. As a thank you and congratulation for the reopening, Passenger Tv is therefore also supplying the Marzili Railway as the very first railroad with the new service at the start of the bathing season. In the course of the coming bathing season, Passenger Tv will also start to provide the screens of other public transport companies in Switzerland with the continuously updated water temperatures of the respective regional waters.
