The toolbox contains a variety of practical aids for the implementation of cross-media campaigns. In the morning we read the newspaper, in the store we consult the web newsletter, on the way home we listen to the radio before enjoying the evening program on TV. The communications professional has to distribute his advertising across various channels in order to reach the targeted consumers at the right moment. The multimedia concept is now commonplace, but the efficient implementation of such cross-media campaigns is still a problem. Linking different media is complex, the development of new possibilities is enormous, a great deal of knowledge is required and extensive practical experience is necessary.Jörg Klemm, a graduate and CAS-certified cross-media manager, developed the idea for a toolbox together with colleagues as part of his further training. A small box for cross-media professionals with the right tools, pioneering examples and directly applicable instruments: it is now available as an elegant cardboard box with index cards covering the twenty most important aspects of multimedia communication. The topic is briefly described on the front and visualized using an illustration. There are also three QR codes that take the user to the corresponding website, where concrete examples make this aspect tangible. The reverse side contains instructions on how to proceed and information on the customer benefits, lists the influencing factors, possible pitfalls and related topics. Again, a link to the integrated website is provided, where checklists and other planning tools, for example, can be viewed and downloaded. All in all, a systematically structured conglomerate of knowledge and aids that needs an introduction. This is why Jörg Klemm first explores the situation with interested parties and determines their specific needs in order to ensure the correct application. More information is available here.
