Campfire unites three VKG websites under one visual roof
The redesign of the VKG’s three main websites brings together the organization’s website, the fire safety registry, and the fire safety regulations under a new visual identity. Campfire is responsible for the implementation.
The Association of Cantonal Building Insurers VKG is the umbrella organization of the cantonal building insurers and their joint organizations.
VKG has been working with Campfire since 2017. However, even for the agency, the "complex organizational structure and the grown content" were not immediately tangible at the start of the project. It was not easy to understand which website would take on which task and what content could be found where.
"The Campfire team had an excellent understanding of our needs and, thanks to their focus on the users, dared to take a very valuable look beyond the briefing. We were involved in important decisions at all times and were thus able to develop a target-oriented solution together," says Andrea Morgenthaler-Hassler, public relations specialist at VKG.
User-friendly structure and access
The primary aim of the website redesign was to make the established content and structures of the three websites Vkg.ch, Bsronline.ch and Bsvonline.ch quickly and effectively accessible to users. In addition, the differentiation and tasks of the three websites were to be clarified and the websites were to be brought up to date technically.
New visual roof
In addition to the access concept and the user-friendly structure, the focus was on uniting the three websites under a new visual umbrella.
A modern design was developed to reflect the VKG brand promise and the organization. A uniform design system is intended to ensure the three platforms are distinguishable through color coding.
The modules developed for the design system can be used on all three websites, ensuring consistency and efficient, cost-effective implementation.
