Business Campaigning develops chatbot for retirement planning campaign
The Swiss Pension Fund Association ASIP and Business Campaigning present the first chatbot that can also be used as a campaign tool.

You can follow him on the Facebook page of Dringendereform.ch can ask questions about the "2020 pension plan". True to the participatory and empowerment campaigning approach of Switzerland's first campaigning agency, the chatbot is also used to communicate with the campaign teams. This is because it provides the arguments of the opponents with the corresponding arguments of the supporters. Supporters of the Yes campaign can therefore use the chatbot for their persuasion work. For example, if someone does not know how to respond to a critical argument, they can ask the chatbot. It then gives a technically correct answer that can simply be copied.
If the chatbot gets stuck, the editorial team continuously enters new answers into the system. This makes the chatbot the linchpin of the campaign. It is constantly being developed further.
The Swiss Pension Fund Association ASIP has commissioned Business Campaigning with a fact check campaign on the "Retirement Provision 2020". As the association announced in Bern on May 12, it is "saying yes to the compromise with reservations and is focusing on a fact check in the referendum campaign". This includes the further development of the existing website, which was also designed and managed by Business Campaigning Urgentreform.ch and the associated social media accounts.
As an independent professional association, the ASIP is the point of contact for all stakeholders in the occupational pensions sector. It will therefore not be joining any voting committee. Nevertheless, ASIP will be involved in the referendum campaign: By means of a primarily digital information and fact-checking campaign, it will highlight the advantages and disadvantages (opportunities/risks) of the proposal as well as the consequences of a Yes and a No vote.
