Bandara shows the construction phases of the Innovation Park Zurich via augmented reality
The Zurich Innovation Park, a new platform for research, development, and innovation, is being built on the grounds of the Dübendorf Airfield. Part of the recently opened information pavilion is an augmented reality experience designed and developed by Bandara, a Zurich-based VR and AR service provider.

An AR application on tablets brings a specially developed table to life: The satellite image printed on the table is enriched with 3D views of the buildings and the surrounding area. The app's interface can now be used to experience various construction phases of the generation project - from the beginnings of Swiss aviation to the construction of the innovation park and the vision for the year 2035. Additional information on individual areas of the facility can be displayed via hotspots. The augmented reality table is part of a permanent exhibition in the Innovation Park's information pavilion. Two tablets are available to visitors, which are attached to the table and equipped with specially developed covers.
