Augmented reality app from Bandara brings magazine to life
Bandara, a Zurich-based VR and AR service provider, has developed a smartphone app for the real estate developer Fortimo Group that enhances the company magazine «Fortissimo» with 3D content.
Recipients of the new issue of "Fortissimo" will find a note on the first pages of the magazine that they should download the "Fortissimo AR" app onto their smartphone. This allows them to view augmented reality content on appropriately marked pages. For example, Fortimo's real estate projects grow out of the magazine as 3D models and can be viewed from all sides. If you tap on the roof of a model, it is hidden and you get a view of the top apartments. The application developed for iOS and Android also includes videos, picture galleries and two 360° tours of Fortimo properties.
