"ViuBox" replaces a trip to the changing room: users dress their own doppelganger
In the «ViuBox» app, users can dress a virtual person—who has exactly the same measurements as they do—in clothing they've found in participating online stores.

The technology will also be implemented in real fashion stores so that customers simply scan the barcode on the garment with their smartphone and then see if the piece fits them and is pleasing on the body sample.
Omit locker room
An important problem area when buying clothes online is that buyers want to have the opportunity to physically inspect or try on the items before buying them. In most cases, the product images shown in online stores can only give a general idea and can be misleading. ViuBox aims to solve this problem. The virtual people to be found in the app are customized to the user's body proportions. Users can thus initially specify what their measurements are and then see whether the clothing items displayed in the app in three dimensions actually fit their proportions.
Fashion brands and online stores have to integrate "SenseMi's API" into their websites for implementation, so that their products can be tested and accessed by users from different parts of the world. However, the principle also works in stores, sparing customers the hassle of trying on clothes in fitting rooms: To do this, simply scan the barcode on the relevant item of clothing and the user can try it on in the application.
New user experience
"Brands now don't have to wait for customers to come into their stores to show them new products. They can invite users to simply try them out on their cell phones. Personal avatars and a three-dimensional inventory take the user experience to a new level," the operators said on their website. The app does not require new hardware or additional devices for its full functionality. The standard version of ViuBox is also free. Those who want to get more options must purchase a monthly subscription. (Press release)
