Lucerne participates in federal voting app
The Canton of Lucerne is participating in the Federal Chancellery's project to launch a mobile app featuring referendum results.

The costs for the development and operation are borne by the federal government, the personnel expenditure for the canton is low, writes the Lucerne government on Thursday. The mobile app provides a complete overview of federal and cantonal proposals by making interim results and the final result quickly available. In the run-up to the votes, the explanatory notes for each business are available digitally.
With this participation, the government council wants to make it easier for voters to access voting proposals and promote their interest in political events. It is the government's task to strengthen political participation. In the medium term, the app will also include all information on municipal proposals. (SDA)
