Acast and Podcastschmiede join forces
Acast, the global podcast hosting and advertising specialist, is entering into a strategic partnership with the Swiss production company Podcastschmiede. The collaboration aims to strengthen the «Sam» sound ad marketplace for podcast advertising and offer advertisers in Switzerland an expanded range of services.

The Swiss podcast landscape is experiencing a significant innovation: international podcast specialist Acast and Winterthur-based Podcastschmiede have announced a strategic collaboration. At the center of the cooperation is the Sound Ad Marketplace "Sam", a platform for podcast advertising launched by Podcastschmiede in 2023.

Thanks to the new partnership, the well-known Acast formats such as Drinnies, Macht und Millionen and Wahre Verbrechen will also be bookable for advertisers via the Sam platform in future. "We already have a strong position in the German market, but until now we have lacked a local presence in Switzerland," explains Nina Wüst, Sales Director at Acast. The collaboration is of great importance both for the monetization of content and for the development of sustainable synergies.
Podcastschmiede is contributing its many years of expertise in podcast production and marketing and will act as a local contact for Swiss brands wishing to use the Acast ecosystem. Natalie Rotschi, responsible for Sam at Podcastschmiede, sees the cooperation as a win-win situation: "Acast offers one of the most sophisticated systems for hosting, analysis and advertising in the podcast sector. With our strong network in Switzerland, we can strengthen Acast's local presence."
The collaboration starts immediately. Interested advertising clients can book Acast's expanded podcast network directly via www.hallosam.ch. The podcast company, which has already successfully implemented campaigns for well-known brands such as Raiffeisen, SBB, BKW and HelloFresh, sees the timing for the expansion as ideal - the demand for podcast advertising is currently experiencing strong growth.
