Doodle expands free basic version
SCHEDULER You can also use Doodle to plan events that last several days. The possibilities range from conferences and workshops to school field trips and vacation plans with friends. The world's leading online scheduler www.doodle.com is strengthening its basic service and launching a new free function. The expansion of the free basic version supports the expansion plans of the Swiss company, which aims to increase its user numbers tenfold over the next five years. "At Doodle, we are in close contact with our users - because we want to continue to bring people together in real life. And in discussions with event managers as well as families and groups of friends, we have found that there are many situations in which a meeting lasts several days," says Doodle CEO Michael Brecht. The demand is great, as was demonstrated in an initial short test phase in which 65,000 of these new surveys were created with over 250,000 participants. The feature for the mobile Doodle app and the optimized website will follow in the next few months.
