ComCom also approves Sunrise takeover
The Federal Communications Commission ComCom has approved the economic transfer of Sunrise's mobile communications licenses as part of the takeover by Liberty Global. The licensing requirements continue to be met, the supervisory authority wrote in a statement on Wednesday.

Competition in the mobile communications market will also not be affected by this acquisition. Sunrise continues to have the necessary technical capabilities to provide its customers with high-quality mobile communications services.
At the end of October, the Competition Commission Weko had already approved the takeover without conditions or requirements (Werbewoche.ch reported).
UPC owner Liberty Global had submitted a purchase offer in August and now holds 96.6 percent of Sunrise (Werbewoche.ch reported). (SDA)
