Lisa Feldmann: Jury Member Zurich Journalism Award
Margrit Sprecher has decided to step down after eight years due to her age and make way for a younger colleague. The Foundation Board has elected journalist Lisa Feldmann as her successor.
Lisa Feldmann, the long-standing editor-in-chief of Annabelle, has been responsible for the German edition of Interview magazine, which was founded by Andy Warhol in 1969, since July 2013. Before her time at Annabelle, Feldmann was editor-in-chief of the German-language edition of Cosmopolitan and worked for Elle, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Stern and Tempo. She also wrote as a freelance author for Die Woche, Tagesspiegel and the Financial Times. Feldmann lives in Berlin and Zurich.
Margrit Sprecher became known far beyond Switzerland's borders for her court and social reportages, which she published in Weltwoche and other publications. She received numerous awards, including the Zurich Journalism Prize in 1985. She received the prize a second time in 2003 for her complete works. Today, Margrit Sprecher works as a freelance journalist, reporter and author.
