How dogs become little angels

Com.Com. and the Swiss Association for Canine Training (VKAS) launched a nationwide campaign earlier this year for the new «National Dog Owner’s Certificate» (NHB) to ensure uniform training for dogs and their owners throughout Switzerland.

Since the beginning of 2017, there has no longer been a mandatory certificate of competence for dog owners in Switzerland. However, unlike the legally required certificate of competence, the National Dog Owner Certificate is voluntary: away from compulsion and towards the realization that the training of dog owners and dogs is always worthwhile. The new "National Dog Owner Certificate" is supported by various organizations: the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office FSVO, the Swiss Animal Protection STS, the Society of Swiss Veterinarians GST and the Swiss Association for Small Animal Medicine SVK.

To make the brevet appealing to owners, Com.Com. has created the slogan "Learning with dogs", which is conveyed on various canine subjects. Not only the voluntary courses are designed to be fun for dogs and owners, but also the national campaign. In addition to the new Website The twelve-page brochure provides information on everything important about the SA in three languages. Posters with various subjects and in different formats are distributed throughout Switzerland by training organizations and municipalities.
