Plan.Net Suisse implements chatbot competition for "Novemberhoch" by Arosa Tourism

To kick off the 2017 winter season, Arosa Tourism has put together attractive «November High» weekend packages for skiers, hikers, and mountain bikers. To drive traffic to the campaign’s landing page, the Zurich-based digital agency Plan.Net Suisse designed and implemented a chatbot sweepstakes. The campaign’s target audiences were effectively reached thanks to precise Facebook targeting.

Although skiing conditions are often good in the Grisons mountains in November, the lifts are often underutilized. To strengthen pre-season business, Arosa Tourism came up with the idea of "November High" in 2015. Since then, attractive weekend packages have been attracting guests to the Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports region every November. Hikers and mountain bikers benefit from offers specially tailored to their needs when the conditions are apery. All packages can be booked on the Novemberhoch landing page. Arosa Tourism commissioned the Zurich-based digital agency Plan.Net Suisse to design measures that should lead to a significant increase in traffic from the beginning of November 2017. Thanks to the competition implemented with a chatbot and the targeted advertising on Facebook, 25,000 people visited the landing page. "The success exceeded our expectations. The increase in page views and the length of time spent on the site are pleasing and have clearly led to more bookings," says Nicole Hemmi, Marketing Project Manager at Arosa Tourism. "It's also great that the questions to be answered as part of the competition have succeeded in improving or anchoring knowledge about Arosa and the region."
