Komet works new for Bernese municipalities and launches recruitment campaign
In Komet's new recruitment campaign for the municipalities of Bern, residents themselves are encouraging potential job candidates to come work for them and their community.

Regardless of whether they are commercial apprentices, depot employees, construction or financial administrators, many of Bern's 351 municipalities are finding it increasingly difficult to find qualified employees, as the private sector is also vying for them with attractive employment conditions.
Following a competitive presentation, they therefore commissioned the advertising agency Komet with a recruitment campaign to generate interest in working for a municipality and attract people to the joint online job portal begem.ch. The campaign is based on the insight that a job where you still know who you are doing it for simply makes more sense and is more enjoyable - especially in our increasingly digitalized, anonymized world dominated by large corporations.
Consequently, on posters, advertisements, banners, flyers and e-boards, residents, who are both employers and customers of a municipality, are personally calling on people to work "for us": Men and women, young and old, Swiss and foreigners. The campaign thus demonstrates precisely the human proximity that is likely to be a decisive advantage in the current competition for personnel.
