Best of Swiss Web awards honorary prize to the founders of Doodle
Europe's oldest web award presents this year's Best of Swiss Web honorary award, which is announced a few days before the award night, to the two founders of Doodle, Michael Näf and Paul E. Sevinç.

At the Best of Swiss Web Award Night this Thursday in the sold-out Kongresshaus Zurich in front of over 800 people, not only will the best Internet and mobile projects and the most digital companies be honored, but an honorary prize will also traditionally be awarded. This prize is awarded to individuals who have made a special contribution to the development of the Internet and the ICT sector, for example through fundamental developments in the technical field or through outstanding achievements as entrepreneurs, politicians or researchers.
This year's honorary award goes to Michael Näf (on the left in the photo) and Paul E. Sevinç, founders of Doodle. They will receive their prize at the Best of Swiss Web Award Night and the Swiss Digital Transformation Award. The laudatory speech will be given by Markus Oswald, Managing Director of the Innovation Foundation of Schwyzer Kantonalbank - and above all the first supporter and investor as well as long-standing member of the Doodle Board of Directors.

Doodle - simply agreed!
The Honorary Award Committee honors the two Doodle founders for their outstanding and innovative achievements in the Internet industry. With the founding, impressive development and long-term safeguarding of one of the most well-known and internationally successful start-ups in Switzerland, they have both set an entrepreneurial milestone in our country.
From the moment the smart online appointment scheduling solution Doodle was launched in 2007, its popularity in Switzerland and around the world grew rapidly - and today it is not only the most popular "scheduling platform" in this country, but also one of the best-known Internet brands in general, used by several million people every week.
Since Tamedia acquired a majority stake in Doodle in 2014, the two founders have continued to be involved in innovation and technology. Myke Näf heads the Swiss Life Lab, an innovation lab and incubator for the insurance group, and Paul E. Sevinç runs Squeng, an IT engineering firm in St. Gallen, among other things.
