Mosaik raises 6500 balloons for Raiffeisen Rorschacherberg-Thal

Raiffeisenbank Rorschacherberg-Thal turned 100 years old on March 11, 2017. A reason to celebrate, the bank thought. And in an unforgettable way. The St. Gallen agency Mosaik launched the idea with the balloon campaign. On this day, 6500 balloons were released into the air, one for each member.

Members and the general public were made aware of this on the anniversary website, through media work and advertisements in local newspapers. A card with a lucky number was attached to each balloon. 13 members were drawn from the returned balloon cards and received a prize.

On the one hand, the bank wanted to say thank you to its members with this campaign. On the other hand, it also wanted to offer something to the regional population. And they succeeded, because it's not every day that you see 6500 balloons rise into the air at once. A number of precautions had to be taken to ensure that the event could take place at all. Both the city and the canton expressed ecological and logistical concerns. But in the end - according to the press release - there was nothing to complain about, so nothing stood in the way of the event.
