"5 p.m. Academy" under the banner of virtual reality
On Thursday, the Serviceplan Group Switzerland once again hosted its «5 p.m. Academy» at its House of Communication.

Under the title "Reality by Virtuality", the two speakers Franziska Siller and Sebastian Zwez addressed topics that are currently being discussed very intensively on the market: 360° video, virtual reality and augmented reality.

Yesterday, Thursday's "5 p.m. Academy" was all about the endless possibilities of virtual reality. In front of around 50 invited guests, the two speakers and virtual reality experts Franziska Siller and Sebastian Zwez provided current insights into the latest technologies. They also answered the question of how promising 360° video, virtual reality and augmented reality really are and how they can be used in brand management. In order to really experience virtual reality, the guests were not only given the opportunity to test VR glasses - they were even able to get on the saddle of a motorcycle and leave the House of Communication without further ado with the BMW "Eye Ride". At least virtually.

The "5 p.m. Academy" is a series of lectures and discussions organized by the Serviceplan Group Switzerland and is dedicated to topics relating to innovations, trends and paradigm shifts in communication. At regular intervals, renowned experts, marketing and communications managers are invited to discuss current developments in the industry and share their insights. The House of Communication acts as a hub for a cross-competence network. In this way, it reflects its own culture of a common place of activity for specialists in the fields of advertising, digital, publishing, media and public relations.
