Last but not least: Audi vs. BMW
At the New York International Auto Show, Audi put its rival BMW in its place—via Wi-Fi.

What is new, however, is that advertising uses this channel. Or at least in the intensity that the agency Muh-Tay-Zik San Francisco displayed to promote the new Audi A4. Since there is a chronic lack of WLAN at the New York International Auto Show and the existing networks of the manufacturers are too weak, the agency laid a very fast line and set up very strong routers. They ran numerous networks over it and named each one with an argument as to why the A4 should be better than the BMW 328i. Thanks to initial character _A4, the networks always appeared at the top when one of the 1'000'000 visitors was looking for Wifi.

Of course, the fun only works as long as the competition doesn't jump on the bandwagon. And as long as you are in a country where comparative advertising is allowed. (hae)
